Breast Cancer Risk Assessment Though it’s said every woman has a 1 in 7 chance of developing breast cancer during her lifetime, this risk may be adjusted upward or downward based on numerous factors including her past gynecologic history and her family history. We determine each of our patient’s 5-year and lifetime breast cancer risk allowing us to evaluate each patients need for diagnostic and therapeutic modalities. In addition, for high risk individuals, we offer office nipple fluid aspiration and ductal lavage. Our office councils patients and draws blood for BRCAnalysis Testing.
